Milestone 3 (ODE Numerics)
In the last milestone, we focused on the modeling aspect and introduced several parametrizations of, e.g., heat capacity, albedo, radiation, etc.
Before moving on to modeling the diffusion operator and the diffusion coefficient, we take a step back and move deeper into understanding the solution behavior of the simplified EBM we discussed in the last chapter. This will also help us to introduce some numerical concepts and algorithms to solve ordinary differential equations (ODEs) that we will use later for the full EBM.
